Head Varsity Football Coach - West Ranch High School
"Josh Guzman is a hardworking and dedicated young man who has already become an important factor in our offense and on our team. He has proven himself not only a possession receiver but has shown signs that he can become a deep threat as well. In addition, he is committed to blocking and will be a major asset to our run game: receivers at West Ranch do not play if they are unwilling to block, and Josh is more than willing to do so. He is emerging as a team leader in the off season, working hard in the weight room and mentoring younger players. We need and expect great performances from Josh in the upcoming season. He had a breakout season in his junior year and looks to be one of our most important weapons on offense in 2010. We have already begun to tailor the offense to utilize his skills and talents and are looking forward to great things from him next season." |

Josh Guzman is an exemplary young man that any organization would be improved with his participation. He is a tremendous wide receiver whose dedication to the technical aspects of his position are tremendous. Moreover, he is the best route runner, and has the best footwork of any athlete I have ever been around. His athletic prowess is only bested by his work ethic. He is the first one to show up and the last one to leave. He is a self starter who seeks out opportunities to get better. I enthusiastically and wholeheartedly recommend Josh for a college football program.
